Senior AI Video Designer

We’re looking for a highly creative Senior AI Video Designer who’s passionate about cinematic storytelling, fluent in AI video generation tools, and excited to help shape the future of branded content. You’ll work within the Creative Department, embedded in Production, and collaborate closely with our Creative directors, and brand strategists to bring storyboards and scripts to life.

This hybrid role combines traditional film editing expertise with the emerging capabilities of large language models (LLMs) like GPT-5 and related AI tools. You’ll be responsible for developing, deploying, and iterating AI-assisted workflows that optimize editorial tasks including dialogue editing, metadata tagging, rough cut assembly, scene description generation, and script-to-screen alignment. This is the first role for this on our team - so if you are interested in being a pioneer, this is definitively the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with editors, producers, and AI engineers to design LLM-integrated editing pipelines

Script breakdowns and scene tagging using LLMs

Dialogue smoothing and revision recommendations using LLMs

Voiceover/script timing alignment using LLMs

Auto-captioning, summarization, and transcription using LLMs

Metadata generation for footage and asset management

Edit rough and fine cuts using AI-assisted tools, maintaining creative and narrative integrity

Translate editorial notes into AI prompts for generating scene alternatives, mood boards, or B-roll lists

Evaluate AI output and tune prompts for creative accuracy and production speed

Provide feedback to AI engineers on tool performance and UX improvements

Stay current with developments in generative AI, post-production tech, and NLP advancements

Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in video editing with a strong cinematic portfolio (feature, TV, or digital formats)

Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects), DaVinci Resolve, or similar.

Demonstrated experience with LLMs or AI video tools (e.g., Runway, Descript, Pictory,Veo3)

Understanding of story structure, pacing, and continuity

Comfortable writing and iterating prompts to improve AI output

Excellent organizational and file management skills

Technical proficiency in video formats, frame rates, audio syncing, and color workflows

Experience working on branded content or short-form ads (especially mobile-first formats).

Experience with Whisper, ElevenLabs, or other AI voice and transcription tools

Nice-To-Have:

Motion graphics skills or familiarity with 3D/CGI environments.

Comfort directing AI-generated shots with prompts, visual references, and look development input.

Understanding of UX or digital environments like microsites, interactive stories, or mobile touchpoints.

Bonus: Python scripting, familiarity with APIs or AI SDKs (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face)
