🖼️ Job Description

We’re looking for a Story Layout Artist to help bring our cinematic stories to life—one shot at a time. In this role, you’ll create high-quality still frames from scripts and shotlists using GenAI tools, working closely with directors to establish tone, blocking, and continuity across each scene.

You’ll iterate quickly based on feedback, maintain strong visual consistency across characters and environments, and ensure each frame serves the story’s emotional and narrative goals. Once layout is approved, you'll help animate the full sequence using AI video tools. This is a fast-paced, collaborative position suited for artists who can work with precision, speed, and strong cinematic instinct.

🧩 Responsibilities

- Translate scripts and shot lists into visually cohesive story sequences

- Use AI tools (Imagen v3/v4, Midjourney, Kling, Veo, Seedance, etc.) to create cinematic stills and video

- Establish visual tone and maintain consistency across lighting, characters, and environments

- Design compelling camera setups: framing, blocking, and composition

- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other artists to meet narrative goals

✅ Requirements

- Strong grasp of cinematic language (framing, blocking, pacing)

- Experience with GenAI tools like Imagen, Kling, Runway, and Stable Diffusion

- Comfortable with prompt iteration and GenAI shot design workflows

- Background in cinematography, animation, or previsualization

🌟 Preferred

- 1+ year experience in storyboarding, visual development, or cinematic layout

- Familiarity with ComfyUI, Photoshop, or other tools for AI cleanup and polish

- Understanding of prompt engineering, inpainting, and multi-shot continuity

- Ability to sketch quick ideas or visual references

- Interest in period design, character-driven storytelling, or worldbuilding
