Digital Designer and AI Artist

We’re looking for a Digital Designer and AI Artist who can push the limits to create high-impact visual content as part of our industry-leading creative development process. You’ll be working closely with our directors to visualise their ideas during two key phases - pitching and pre-production.

This is a new kind of role for a new kind of creative — perfect for someone with an experimental mindset who is fluent in Runway, Kling, Sora, Veo 3, or similar tools — and excited about pushing visual storytelling into new territory.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate closely with Directors and the Creative Development team to shape concepts and bring them to life

Specialise in developing image and video assets for director’s treatments, pitches, and visual research decks

While being involved in all aspects of treatment research, layout and design

Develop pre-viz assets using video generation and 3d modelling

Collaborate with creatives to explore mood, tone, lighting, composition, and cinematic style

Lead the production of AI-generated videos and stills from concept to final render

Master visual consistency across scenes and edits — from characters to environments

Blend AI visuals seamlessly with traditional VFX, CGI, and post-production workflows

Solve AI quirks such as temporal drift, and lighting variance with hacks (or scripts)

What You’ll Bring

Hands-on experience with Runway, Midjourney, AnimateDiff, Kling, ControlNet, Flux, or similar Gen-AI platforms

Strong skills in traditional editing tools: Premiere, After Effects/DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, etc.

A deep understanding of Gen-AI “tells” — and how to fix them

A curious, iterative mindset — you test, learn, and push tools to their creative edge

A great eye for cinematography, composition, and visual storytelling

Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-moving, in-person creative team

Awareness of ethical and creative best practices in AI-generated content

Full legal right to work in Australia

A sharp visual eye — you can see the difference between cinema and stock

Able to take on agency/client briefs and adapt quickly to shifting priorities

Knowledge of or willingness to learn design platforms/software such as INDD

Nice to Have

Python scripting for batch prompt generation or cleanup automation

Experience fine-tuning models or curating datasets to lock in visual style

Familiarity with Blender, Unreal Engine, Maya, or TouchDesigner

Bonus if you’ve worked on commercials, branded content, or music videos
