Community Growth Lead

AI LA seeks a Community Growth Lead to drive sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue growth for our non-profit's programs and events. This role is ideal for a strategic, entrepreneurial professional passionate about AI, community building, and social impact.

The focus will include funding AI literacy programs and supporting cross-industry initiatives that represent Los Angeles’ dynamic ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales & Partnerships: Identify, cultivate, and close sponsorships and partnerships with corporations, foundations, and organizations.

Revenue Generation: Develop strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals by securing funding for AI literacy programs, hackathons, events, and workforce development initiatives.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including sponsors, industry leaders, educational institutions, and community partners and members.

Proposal Development: Create compelling sponsorship decks, partnership proposals, and other materials to communicate AI LA’s mission and opportunities.

Cross-Industry Collaboration: Align AI LA’s programs with the needs of key industries in Los Angeles, including entertainment, technology, sustainability, healthcare, and education.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the leadership team to identify growth opportunities, refine sponsorship packages, and develop long-term partnership strategies.

Event Support: Work alongside the programming team to identify sponsor activations, align partner deliverables, and ensure exceptional value delivery.

Community and Membership Engagement: Develop engaging content to foster strong online and in-person relationships, increase member engagement, strengthen AI LA’s paid membership program, and collaborate with AI LA ambassadors to expand community reach.

Reporting & Metrics: Track, report, and analyze partnership/sponsorship performance to assess ROI and identify areas for improvement.

Compensation & Incentives:

$5k monthly stipend and performance bonuses tied to clearly defined organizational goals and outcomes.
