AI Filmmaker

Hi there, I'm Martyn Swain, an Emmy award-winning composer based in Central London.

Before Lockdown (!) I wrote and scored a 'Musical Event', which was perform in York, UK.

With theatre arguably still licking its wounds after Covid, I'm looking for a new route for my show.

’Ruby & the 13th Door’ is an epic Fairytale which takes the audience on a roller-coaster ride from a cold winter’s evening in Bavaria (where else!) to a fantasy World in the Clouds ... then to a 'Forest of Thorns' and finally to the Emerald Kingdom, where the show reaches a thrilling climax.

The show was originally staged as an Immersive Event (before they became popular!) and received excellent reviews. Julian Lennon said of the show “Martyn has a depth & understanding of Music and Character that most in his field could only dream of.”

Over the last year I've been looking to revisit the show and I've been accumulating potential funders and philanthropists along the way, including the United Nations.

So - how can Curious Refuge members help?

Well, One of 3 ways, I would suggest:

- To collaborate on the making of a Feature Film re-imagining the show within a magical AI World with no creative limits.

- To create a 'Trailer' for a new Live Show.

To create Immersive Sets for a new Live show.
