Project Proposal: Bastet – A New Kind of Music Artist Storytelling

Intro

We’re launching a bold new music-artist project built around Bastet, a fictional, myth-infused character who is also a real DJ and music producer releasing original EPs.

The concept blends music release strategy with vertical storytelling, using short-form AI-generated videos to document Bastet’s journey as she travels to the U.S. to become a breakout underground club DJ.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited to shape a new model of narrative-led music marketing, where AI storytelling, visual lore, and real-world music releases combine. Think of it like the short-form vertical dramas emerging from Asia, crossed with Blade Runner meets Euphoria, A serialized character-driven content with a mythic twist, delivered in bite-sized episodes across the vertical video formats of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
