Music Video Editor (with AI VFX Experience)

We’re crafting a visual crescendo — a 2-minute musical montage in an upcoming short film that charts the rise of a star. It needs to look and feel like a breakout moment — a music video that doesn’t just follow trends, but redefines what’s visually cutting-edge.

Ideally, we’re looking for a creative partner who can bring cinematic instinct and AI-driven VFX chops to elevate a pivotal scene.

What You'll Do:

Edit a high-impact music-driven montage using footage and a detailed narrative script. We have about 2 hours of footage for you to pull from.

In addition to the traditional music video edit skills, we'd like someone proficient in AI tools (e.g., Runway, Flow/Pika, Veo 3) for:

-- Background replacement and generation

-- Seamless, stylized transitions

-- Light VFX to enhance atmosphere and surreal moments

-- Anything else you see fit!!

Collaborate with the director, contributing ideas that amplify the story and aesthetic

The whole film will be in 4k so ideally we'd like to maintain the majority of the music video in this resolution.

Requirements:

-- Experience editing music videos or stylized narrative content

-- Proficiency with AI video tools (Runway, Flow/Pika, Veo 3, or similar)

-- Strong sense of rhythm, style, and emotional arc

-- Aesthetic that leans toward boundary-pushing, visually bold work

-- Capable of working independently while taking creative input

-- Access to a professional 4K-capable edit/VFX setup

Compensation:

Project-based, $1000 flat rate

Includes film credit and the opportunity to be part of a standout piece aimed at festival and platform submissions
