Motion Designer & Generative AI Artist

We're building an AI Studio vertical at Machinga and looking for someone who speaks both the languages of motion design and generative AI fluently.

The Role

As our Motion Designer/AI Artist, you'll help pioneer our agency's generative filmmaking capabilities. You'll be translating creative briefs into compelling visual narratives using both traditional motion design tools and emerging AI technologies.

What you'll be working with:

Motion design fundamentals (After Effects, Cinema 4D)

Text-to-video tools (Runway Gen-2, Pika)

Image generation (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion)

Video editing with AI assistance (Descript, Topaz)

Frame interpolation and animation tools (FILM, Deforum)

You're equally comfortable discussing keyframes and diffusion models. Your portfolio demonstrates strong fundamentals in motion design, while showing your explorations into generative AI. You're excited about the intersection of human creativity and machine capabilities.

For those who've completed courses at Curious Refuge or similar AI filmmaking programs - yes, we're specifically looking for you. Your education in these emerging tools is exactly what we need.
