AI Project Manager

StudioNow is looking for a AI Project Manager to join their team for a hybrid, 40-hour/week, 18-month contract. You must be able to go onsite to the client's office 2-3 days/week in downtown Atlanta.

We're seeking a forward-thinking AI Project Manager to help drive the future of creative technology within a high-velocity studio environment. You’ll serve as the operational heartbeat of a test-and-learn incubator—managing AI tool pilots, tracking experimental workflows, and translating creative chaos into repeatable, scalable success.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end lifecycle of AI tool pilot projects—from ideation to testing, evaluation, and rollout.

Partner with creative, strategy, and technology leads to define and operationalize test-and-learn frameworks.

Maintain an organized, well-documented pipeline of experimental projects and pilots.

Track milestones, risks, resourcing, and outcomes to ensure projects remain on time and aligned to goals.

Facilitate seamless collaboration between internal teams and external agency/tech partners.

Contribute to the development of internal playbooks, onboarding processes, and best practices for creative AI workflows.

Occasionally support creative production projects requiring technical and operational oversight.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong project management experience, ideally in a creative or technology-driven environment.

Passion for AI, creative technology, and emerging tools.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Familiarity with AI platforms (no need to be a creator, but understanding is key).

Ability to translate technical experiments into actionable insights.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, Trello etc) a plus.

Deliverables:

Manage AI tool pilot projects from ideation through testing, evaluation, and integration.

Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of test-and-learn experiments.

Track progress, organize documentation, and maintain clear communications between stakeholders.

Coordinate with Strategic Agency Partners for technology evaluation and creative pilots.

Identify risks, resource needs, and bottlenecks to keep projects on time and aligned with business goals.

Help create and refine the Studio’s technology evaluation and onboarding framework.

Assist in synthesizing findings into presentations for creative studios leadership.

Requirements:

Should be able to get your hands dirty within the creative world. Has creative PM experience and/or knowledge. We want someone to come in with the knowledge of traditional workflows as well as AI.

Someone who has been at an agency, (can be scrappy), production company or in-house creative group is a plus.
