AI Filmmaker

We are seeking a fast, detail-oriented AI Prompter with a sharp eye for visual fidelity to join our cutting-edge VFX studio. This role is ideal for someone who lives at the intersection of creativity and technology. You’ll be responsible for generating high-quality, photorealistic AI imagery, maintaining visual continuity across projects, and pushing the boundaries of what generative tools can do in a professional VFX pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Craft expert-level prompts for generative AI tools (e.g. Midjourney, Kling, etc.) to produce photo-real, production-ready concept imagery.

Ensure all AI-generated visuals match the required tone, lighting, color palette, camera angle, and lensing style as defined by the project’s creative direction or reference plates.

Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI technologies, plugins, workflows, and community innovations—bringing new tools and techniques into the studio.

Translate written or verbal creative briefs into visual outputs that enhance previs, pitch decks, style frames, and moodboards.

Maintain a curated database of prompts, reference outputs, and style studies for internal use and creative alignment.

Collaborate with the Art, Comp, and CG departments to integrate AI outputs into existing pipelines, ensuring continuity and realism.

Work quickly under tight deadlines, managing multiple iterations per day with precision and creativity.

Qualifications:

Proven experience working with generative AI tools for visual development (please include a portfolio or sample prompts with outputs).

Deep understanding of prompt engineering for photorealism, stylization, and material accuracy.

Strong grasp of VFX fundamentals including lighting, composition, lenses, materials, and color grading.

Ability to analyze and replicate specific visual styles and photographic/cinematic techniques.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail—must be able to manage and document complex prompt workflows.

Strong visual communication and presentation skills.

Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar tools is a plus.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with long-form hours (9am–7pm).

Bonus Skills:

Experience with photoshop

Background in photography, concept art, or digital matte painting.

Familiarity with VFX pipelines and post-production workflows.
